* MsBettie’s Elder Spot tent is usually close to the stage.
TENT LOCATION for JUNETEENTH
They have changed our tent location to the opposite side of the stage, from what is noted in the photograph!!!
From the BACK of the stage, we are on the LEFT; facing the stage, we are on the RIGHT.
The tent is 10’x10’.
(It will take two or three people to set it up.)
We need the volunteers to set up the tent and prepare (unfold) the 7 wagons for the other volunteers.
Volunteers will assist vendors by helping unload BEFORE the event and reloading their vehicles AFTER the festival/event. They will use walkie-talkies to communicate with each other. They will use wagons to take the vendor’s supplies, materials, equipment and products to their tent.
They will also support the community and elders with the resources we have available (Cell phone chargers, a First Aid Kit, Voter Registration Forms, canes/walkers for elders, if needed, and a few other items.)
The volunteers will work in 1, 2 or 3 hour shifts beginning as early as 7:30 a.m. til around 11:30 p.m.
- We need Drivers to pick up and return our supplies and equipment to the storage location.
- Volunteers are needed to assist with replacing the items in the storage space.
